Job summary

Indra Group in Barcelona is seeking a Verification & Validation Systems Engineer to define and execute verification and validation plans for space, navigation, GNSS, PNT, and aerospace/defense systems. You will design and automate test cases, use laboratory equipment, and collaborate across teams to ensure traceability from requirements to validation results.

The role emphasizes coordination with multidisciplinary engineering groups and involvement in national and international space projects,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in hardware and software verification and validation.
• Experience defining, developing, and executing test plans and campaigns.
• Experience designing, implementing, and automating test cases.
• Knowledge of systems engineering methodologies and lifecycle processes.
• Fluent English.

We are looking for a Verification & Validation Systems Engineer with experience in hardware and software system verification and validation, test automation, and systems engineering to join projects focused on space, navigation, GNSS, PNT, and aerospace/defense systems development and validation.

What will you do?

• Define, develop, and execute verification and validation plans, procedures, and test campaigns.
• Design, implement, and automate test cases for complex hardware and software systems.
• Perform integration, verification, and validation activities throughout the system development lifecycle.
