We are currently collaborating with a leading HVAC industry company based in Madrid., which is looking to add a Validation Technician to its team.

About the Role

• Validate HVAC systems by performing assembly and testing both at origin and on the vehicle, including mechanical, software, electrical, and electronic type validation.
• Perform electrical, electronic, pneumatic, thermodynamic, and / or mechanical assembly of equipment for HVAC system tests and trials, ensuring their quality and traceability of results.
• Conduct noise and vibration tests.
• Understand the project concept from a mechanical and electrical / electronic perspective, through the study of documentation provided by the systems and development area.
• Perform project validation tests, completing the corresponding results sheet. Validate the system to move on to the commissioning phase.
• Conduct tests on new components and / or equipment.
• Validate components and / or equipment.
• Responsible for the maintenance and proper functioning of the laboratory and its materials.

Requirements

• Academic or professional education in industrial engineering, electrical, electronic or mechanical engineering, or similar.
• 3 years of experience as a test technician and / or in mechanical and electrical HVAC maintenance.
• Knowledge of thermodynamics, electricity, mechanics, electronics, noise, and vibroacoustics.
• Technical product knowledge for analysis and improvement.
• Knowledge of measurement and acquisition devices.
