Bespoke Pixel, a small Barcelona-based game studio, is seeking a Build & Version Control Engineer who will own the studio's source-control strategy and build pipelines. You will lead the transition to a chosen system, oversee Unreal Engine 5 builds, and develop tools to make builds faster and more reliable.

You’ll work hands-on with programmers, artists and designers in a close-knit team, helping improve developer experience and reliability while scaling infrastructure for growth.

Formación

• Experience owning technical systems and improving developer productivity.
• Background as Build Engineer, DevOps, Platform, Infrastructure, CI/CD or Release Engineer.
• Experience with CI/CD systems and build pipelines.
• Experience with version control systems such as Perforce and Git.
• Experience planning or executing version control migrations.
• Scripting skills (Python/PowerShell/Bash) and Windows-based infra experience.
• Familiarity with Unreal Engine build processes is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Help the studio choose the right version control system for our needs and lead the transition.
• Be the person in command of our UE5 builds and improve build health.
• Develop tools and automation to stabilize and speed up builds.
• Own and evolve our CI/CD infrastructure and automate repetitive processes.
• Improve developer experience by reducing friction for programmers, artists and designers.
• Maintain and improve the infrastructure behind the development environment.
• Collaborate with programmers, technical artists and other developers.
