Swissport in Madrid is seeking a Treasury Transformation Senior Analyst to support the Head of Cash Management. The role focuses on delivering treasury transformation, improving liquidity management, and strengthening processes and controls using tools like Kyriba.

You will collaborate with Treasury, Finance, FP&A, IT, ERP teams, and regional finance groups to standardize and automate treasury activities across regions, contributing to efficient cash management and intercompany funding.

Formación

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in corporate treasury, treasury consulting, finance transformation, or banking.
  • Good experience in treasury operations, cash management, or treasury project support.
  • Exposure to treasury transformation initiatives such as centralization, bank rationalization, or cash pooling.
  • Experience with treasury management systems, preferably Kyriba.
  • Good understanding of treasury data flows, bank connectivity, and ERP integrations, particularly SAP or similar systems.
  • Advanced Excel and reporting skills; experience with Microsoft Power BI preferred.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsabilidades

  • Support treasury transformation initiatives from planning through implementation and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Contribute to treasury process improvement projects focused on standardization, automation, and control enhancement.
  • Assist in translating business requirements into practical process and system solutions.
  • Track project milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues to support timely delivery.
  • Support the rollout of treasury operating model enhancements across regions and business units.
  • Support daily and strategic liquidity management through improved cash visibility and reporting.
  • Assist in implementing automated cash positioning and centralized liquidity reporting processes.
  • Contribute to initiatives to improve cash concentration structures, pooling arrangements, and intercompany funding processes.
  • Prepare liquidity analysis, reporting, and dashboards to support treasury decision-making.
  • Assist with scenario analysis, liquidity planning, and stress testing exercises.
  • Execute bank account rationalization initiatives, including account reviews, closures, and documentation clean‑up.
  • Maintain and improve bank account inventory, governance, and signatory controls.
  • Support treasury centralization initiatives such as payment factories, in‑house banking, and regional treasury structures.
  • Coordinate with banking partners to implement account structure changes, connectivity improvements, and service enhancements.
  • Support consolidation of banking relationships to improve efficiency and reduce complexity.
  • Support implementation and optimization of treasury management systems, particularly Kyriba.
  • Participate in treasury system enhancements, testing, user validation, and deployment activities.
  • Help improve treasury data flows between source systems, banks, and the TMS.
  • Work with IT and ERP teams to resolve integration issues and improve process automation.
  • Support development of treasury dashboards, reporting, and analytics capabilities.
  • Support standardization and improvement of cash flow forecasting processes across the group.
  • Assist with implementation of system‑enabled forecasting and reporting capabilities.
  • Improve forecast quality through variance analysis, issue tracking, and process improvements.
  • Support short‑term and medium‑term liquidity forecasting activities.
  • Contribute to reporting on key cash drivers and working capital movements.
  • Collaborate with Treasury, Finance, FP&A, IT, and regional teams to support project execution.
  • Participate in workshops, project meetings, and follow‑up actions.
  • Prepare training materials and support end‑user adoption of new processes and systems.
  • Escalate issues when appropriate and support timely resolution.
  • Assist with post‑implementation monitoring and continuous improvement.
  • Support treasury transformation initiatives in line with internal control and governance requirements.
  • Maintain process documentation, operating procedures, and control frameworks.
  • Prepare project status updates and reporting.
  • Support audit readiness and compliance with treasury policies and internal standards.

Job Summary

The Treasury Transformation Senior Analyst will support the Head of Cash Management in delivering treasury transformation initiatives aimed at improving treasury operations, enhancing liquidity management, optimizing banking structures, and strengthening treasury processes, systems, and controls. This role supports treasury transformation projects from planning through implementation, helping treasury processes become more standardized, automated, and scalable through the effective use of treasury technology, particularly treasury management systems such as Kyriba. Key focus areas include cash management, treasury centralization, cash pooling, bank account rationalization, process automation, and systems integration.

The role requires close collaboration with Treasury, Finance, FP&A, IT, Accounting, ERP teams, and regional finance teams to support process improvements, system rollouts, data quality enhancements, and adoption of new ways of working.

Key Responsibilities

Treasury Transformation Delivery

  • Support treasury transformation initiatives from planning through implementation and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Contribute to treasury process improvement projects focused on standardization, automation, and control enhancement.
  • Assist in translating business requirements into practical process and system solutions.
  • Track project milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues to support timely delivery.
  • Support the rollout of treasury operating model enhancements across regions and business units.

Cash Management & Liquidity Execution

  • Support daily and strategic liquidity management through improved cash visibility and reporting.
  • Assist in implementing automated cash positioning and centralized liquidity reporting processes.
  • Contribute to initiatives to improve cash concentration structures, pooling arrangements, and intercompany funding processes.
  • Support efforts to reduce trapped cash and improve liquidity mobility across entities and jurisdictions.
  • Prepare liquidity analysis, reporting, and dashboards to support treasury decision-making.
  • Assist with scenario analysis, liquidity planning, and stress testing exercises.

Banking Structure Optimization

  • Execute bank account rationalization initiatives, including account reviews, closures, and documentation clean‑up.
  • Maintain and improve bank account inventory, governance, and signatory controls.
  • Support treasury centralization initiatives such as payment factories, in‑house banking, and regional treasury structures.
  • Coordinate with banking partners to implement account structure changes, connectivity improvements, and service enhancements.

Qualifications & Competencies
  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in corporate treasury, treasury consulting, finance transformation, or banking.
  • Good experience in treasury operations, cash management, or treasury project support.
  • Exposure to treasury transformation initiatives such as centralization, bank rationalization, or cash pooling.
  • Experience with treasury management systems, preferably Kyriba.
  • Good understanding of treasury data flows, bank connectivity, and ERP integrations, particularly SAP or similar systems.
  • Advanced Excel and reporting skills; experience with Microsoft Power BI preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder coordination skills.
