BVGroup, based in Gibraltar, is seeking a Treasury & Accounts Payable Assistant to support the Treasury and Accounts Payable functions. You will process supplier invoices, prepare and execute payment runs, perform bank reconciliations, and maintain accurate financial records while contributing to month-end close and process improvements.

Reporting to the Treasury & Accounts Payable Manager, you will work on multiple banking platforms and ensure compliance with financial controls and approval

Formación

• Experience in Accounts Payable, Treasury, or Finance Assistant roles.
• Strong Excel and Office skills.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite or Coupa.

Purpose Of The Role

As a Treasury & Accounts Payable Assistant, you will report to the Manager of Treasury & Accounts Payable and play a key role in supporting the efficient operation of the Treasury and Accounts Payable functions.

You will be responsible for processing supplier invoices, preparing and executing payment runs, performing bank reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records. You will also support month-end activities, ensure financial controls and approval processes are followed, and contribute to the continuous improvement of finance processes while providing excellent service to both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing supplier invoices by matching them to purchase orders, verifying general ledger coding, and ensuring appropriate approvals are obtained in line with Financial Authority Policy.
• Reconciling supplier statements, investigating discrepancies, resolving supplier queries, and monitoring aged creditor balances to ensure timely settlement of outstanding items.
• Preparing and executing payment runs, including vendor, payroll, tax, duty, affiliate, and other payments across multiple banking platforms, while ensuring all payment controls and approval workflows are followed.
• Downloading daily bank statements, performing bank reconciliations, and maintaining accurate treasury records to support effective cash management.
• Processing and reconciling corporate credit card and debit card transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Supporting month-end close activities by maintaining accurate financial records and contributing to the timely production of management accounts.
• Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness of Treasury and Accounts Payable activities.
• Building and maintaining strong working relationships with suppliers, banking partners, and internal stakeholders to support the smooth operation of finance processes.
• Assisting the wider finance team with ad hoc finance tasks, projects, and continuous improvement initiatives as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience within an Accounts Payable, Treasury, or Finance Assistant role.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills, with the ability to work accurately with financial data.
• Working knowledge of accounting systems, ideally NetSuite, Coupa, or similar ERP platforms.
• Experience processing supplier invoices, preparing payment runs, and performing bank reconciliations.
• Good understanding of financial controls, approval processes, and accounting best practices.
• Highly proactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented, with a professional approach to confidentiality and financial accuracy.
• Experience within a treasury environment, familiarity with multiple banking platforms, or experience within the online gaming industry would be advantageous.
