ACCEL Schools' Toledo Preparatory Academy in Toledo, Ohio is hiring a highly qualified 5th Grade Teacher. You will deliver engaging lessons, differentiate instruction, and track student progress in a dynamic urban learning environment.

The ideal candidate holds an active Ohio teaching license, a Bachelor’s degree in education, and experience with data-driven planning, family communication, and collaboration with colleagues to support academic and social-emotional growth.

Formación

• Active and current Ohio teaching license in appropriate content area.
• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
• Experience in growth-focused coaching environment based on frequent observations and progress monitoring.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage confidential information.
• Experience in urban environments.
• Ability to supervise students in different school settings.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and deliver lesson plans with modifications during the school year.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students.
• Maintain accurate records of students’ progress and development.
• Utilize research-based best practices in daily planning and classroom instruction.
• Manage student behavior in the classroom.
• Create a positive classroom environment for students to learn.
• Incorporate technology into daily classroom practice.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Communicate with families regarding academic and social-emotional growth.
• Participate in non-instructional activities as needed.
