Ryanair, a leading European airline, is recruiting Trainee Aircraft Mechanics for a comprehensive 12-week training program starting throughout 2024. This position offers the opportunity to develop a career in aircraft maintenance, providing essential skills and the chance to work with Boeing 737 aircraft. Successful trainees may continue as junior Mechanics and contribute to safe aviation practices.

Formación

Spanish International Aircraft Maintenance SL (SIAM) is one of six heavy aircraft maintenance providers for our client Ryanair, carrying out maintenance on Ryanair’s entire fleet of New Generation Boeing 737-800 series aircraft, at our Hangar facility located in Seville, Spain.

Ryanair is Europe’s favourite low fares airline, operating more than 3,300 daily flights from over 90 bases, connecting 230 destinations in over 37 countries and operating a fleet of over 570 Boeing 737 aircraft.

As part of our continuous growth plan, we are seeking to recruit Trainee Aircraft Mechanics for our 12-week training program with intakes throughout 2024.

The Trainee Aircraft Mechanic programme is open to all. It provides candidates with the opportunity to upskill and pursue a career as a licensed Aircraft Engineer.

The 12-week training program aims to provide the trainee with the necessary skills and knowledge. Once the trainee has successfully completed and passed the course, he / she can continue in the company as a junior Mechanic developing the following tasks under supervision :

Duties will include, but are not limited to :

  • Carrying out maintenance tasks as required
  • Maintaining a high standard of work in all tasks
  • Completing the appropriate documentation
  • Complying with all company procedures, policies, regulations and MOE
  • Maintaining a safe and clean working environment
  • Ensuring the company Health and Safety policy is adhered to
  • Any other tasks as directed by Supervisor / Manager

Requirements

  • Unrestricted right to live and work in Europe and travel freely throughout Europe.
  • A strong aptitude for manual work is recommended.
  • A keen interest in a career within aircraft maintenance.
  • Basic knowledge of English is required (Level B1 minimum) and a secondary school diploma, equivalent or higher as an educational qualification.
  • Ability to pass a full security background check.
  • Be 18 years or older.
