Apollo Solutions in Madrid is seeking a Threat Detection Manager to lead detection and threat hunting efforts within a hybrid setup. You will oversee detection strategy, collaborate with security partners, and drive improvements across a global enterprise environment.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in security monitoring and a strong grasp of MITRE ATT&CK, Cyber Kill Chain, and related frameworks, plus hands-on SIEM/XDR/EDR experience. This role emphasizes ownership and cross-team coordination.

Formación

• Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in security monitoring, threat detection, threat hunting, or security operations.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, XDR, EDR, cloud security, identity protection, and network security technologies.
• Strong understanding of threat actors, attack methodologies, and frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, Cyber Kill Chain, and the Diamond Model.
• Experience in large, global organisations and hybrid technology environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive and ownership-driven with a focus on measurable security outcomes.

Responsabilidades

• Lead threat detection and hunting function with strategic direction and operational oversight.
• Coordinate internal resources and external partners to ensure consistent detection and hunting outcomes.
• Develop and maintain high-quality detection rules to improve visibility and reduce false positives.
• Drive advanced, risk-based threat hunting to identify sophisticated and previously undetected threats.
• Integrate purple team findings into detection engineering and hunting programs.
• Collaborate with Incident Response, Threat Intelligence, Vulnerability Management, and security teams to strengthen operations.
