AXON Networks seeks a Telecommunications Algorithms Engineer to advance access and Wi‑Fi solutions for global ISPs. You will design and implement algorithms, analyze data, and support product features throughout the release cycle.

You will mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross‑functional teams in a hybrid Madrid setting; English and Spanish fluency are required.

Formación

• Master’s in Telecommunications or related field; PhD is a plus.
• Experience with the physical layer of communication systems.
• Knowledge of copper, fiber or Wi‑Fi technologies.
• Experience collecting, testing, analyzing, and reporting data in lab/production environments.
• Experience with SQL and MongoDB.
• Experience with Git.
• Experience with Java development.
• Experience in algorithm analysis.
• Familiar with Linux and Python scripting.
• Familiar with data mining and ML algorithms.

AXON Networks is looking for a Telecommunications Algorithms Engineer to join our team as an Algorithms & Data Analyst Developer. You’ll work on cutting‑edge solutions for global ISPs like DT, Telefónica, and Bouygues, improving access networks, WiFi management, and E2E software.

The Telecommunications Algorithms Engineer plays a key role in the design and development of AXON Networks products focused on access and WiFi technologies. You’ll leverage your technical expertise in algorithms and PON/WiFi systems throughout the entire release process, including data analysis, algorithm definition, documentation, implementation, testing, and bug fixing.

You will be working in a dynamic and continuous learning environment, with highly cooperative colleagues, and you will feel a part of a highly skilled technical community.

Requirements

Technical Skills

• Master’s in Telecommunications or related field (PhD is a plus).
• Experience working on the physical layer of communication systems.
• Knowledge of communication systems and statistical processing.
• Knowledge of copper (DSL), fiber (PON) or Wi‑Fi technologies is desirable.
• Experience in collection, test definition, analysis, and reporting of data in lab/production environments.
• Experience with database languages such as SQL/MongoDB.
• Experience with version control systems, such as GIT.
• Experience with Java software development.
• Experience in algorithm analysis.
• Familiarity with Linux (as user) and programming in scripting languages like Python.
• Familiarity with data mining and machine learning algorithms.
