Jobtome International in Cervelló (Barcelona) seeks an Environmental, Health and Safety Technician to lead and coordinate EHS activities at the industrial plant. You will program preventive tasks, perform risk assessments, and drive continuous improvement and EHS projects.

The role requires an occupational risk prevention qualification, PRL regulation knowledge, and English at an intermediate level. You will also handle waste, ADR routines, PPE management, and documentation updates.

Formación

• Technician with a higher level in Occupational Risk Prevention and the three preventive specialties.
• Fundamental knowledge of PRL regulations and main related RD.
• Basic knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards and their application.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate preventive activities programming and define EHS objectives.
• Coordinate workplace and machine risk assessments.
• Lead continuous improvement projects and EHS Kaizen events.
• Conduct EHS inspections and propose corrective actions.
• Analyze findings and follow up on preventive measures and hygiene metrics.
• Manage waste, ADR handling, PPE delivery, and PPE shortages.

Summary

Performing the tasks of an environmental, health and safety technician. Management and coordination of all EHS activities of the industrial plant located in Cervelló (Barcelona).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborate in the programming of preventive activities and in the definition of EHS objectives.
• Coordinate workplace risk assessments and machine risk assessments.
• Management and leadership of continuous improvement projects.
• Management of EHS Kaizen Events and Brainstormings.
• Conducting EHS inspections.
• Analyzing and making proposals for corrective and preventive measures arising from the various EHS activities (risk assessments, EHS inspections, hygiene measurements, etc.) and following up on their implementation.
• Management of waste collections, as well as loading and unloading of dangerous goods (ADR).
• Identification and delivery of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Prepare briefing notes, awareness roll ups, internal communications, as well as update daily EHS indicators.
• Collaborate in the completion of the DARI, DAE and ADR Safety Advisor report, and in the evaluation of environmental aspects.
• Management of medical and skills reviews received.
• Carrying out Emergency Plan updates.
• Manage the elaboration and updating of documentation of the occupational health and safety management system, and of the environmental management system: procedures and instruction sheets.
• Collaboration in the realization of the evaluation of environmental aspects.
• Management of environmental improvements arising from the companys Environmental Committee.

Qualifications

• Superior Technician in Occupational Risk Prevention (with the 3 preventive specialties/disciplines).
• PRL regulations and main associated RD.
• Basic knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Valuable knowledge of Lean and Continuous Improvement.
