CFM-Centro de Física de Materiales/MPC-Materials Physics Center in Spain seeks a First Stage Researcher to contribute to cutting-edge quantum nanophotonics projects. The role focuses on interactions of structured and quantum light with matter, combining fundamental and applied research with a strong experimental component.

Candidates should have a physics/engineering background and experience in optics, lasers, data collection, and scientific programming.

Formación

• Candidates should hold a degree in Physics, Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in experimental optics, laser systems, optomechanics, data acquisition, instrumentation and scientific programming (Python, MATLAB or similar) will be highly appreciated.
• Previous experience in quantum optics, squeezed light or optical levitation will be considered an advantage.

The Quantum Nanophotonics Group at the Materials Physics Center investigates the interaction of structured and quantum light with matter at the nanoscale. The group combines fundamental and applied research in quantum optics, nanophotonics and quantum technologies, with a strong experimental component. Current research topics
