A leading media and entertainment company in Madrid is seeking an IT support professional. The role requires providing high-level customer support and technical troubleshooting across technologies including Windows and Mac. Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well‑capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure‑play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin‑off is expected to be completed during 2025.
The TechEx team forms part of the IT Workplace Operations Team and the role will require a high‑level customer focus, technical flexibility and agility. The role also requires flexibility around operational hours as well as supporting the Spain office and users based in Spain/EU.
Customer skills are equally as important as technical skills, combining both to ensure delivery of a world‑class service. Effectively manage Incidents and Requests, ensuring customers are kept informed of progress and escalating where necessary.
Experience of working in an ITIL compliant corporate environment.
