GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead to operate offshore wind assets from a Remote Operations Center in Barcelona. You will monitor turbines, diagnose issues remotely, and guide field teams through problem resolution to maintain reliable uptime.

You will collaborate with engineers, analyze data for faults and trends, and contribute to continuous process improvements while following safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent wind-energy experience.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems in operations.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA systems and digital monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with clear technical communication.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
• Fluent English; willingness to relocate to Barcelona and EU work eligibility.

About the role

As a ROC Technical Lead, you support the safe and efficient operation of advanced offshore wind assets from a remote operations center. You play a key role across both commissioning and service phases, helping ensure turbines perform reliably throughout their lifecycle.

You work closely with site teams and engineering experts to detect, analyze, and resolve technical issues, ensuring stable operations and continuous improvement.

What you'll do

What you bring

• Control room or remote operations experience
• Offshore wind or commissioning experience
• Exposure to advanced turbine control systems (e.g., MarkVIe or similar)

• Fluent in Spanish (spoken and written)

Ways of working

You work on a rotating weekday shift schedule (Monday to Friday), covering morning and afternoon shifts.

You also take part in an on-call rotation for occasional weekend and public holiday support.
