Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Tech Lead to lead the design, implementation, and evolution of our Microsoft Fabric–based Data Platform. This role combines deep technical expertise with strong leadership, ensuring scalable, secure, and compliant data solutions while mentoring and guiding the engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and validate the design and deployment of the Microsoft Fabric Data Platform.

Define and enforce technical standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines.

Mentor and coach team members, supporting technical growth and delivery excellence.

Design and implement secure, scalable, and high-performance data solutions and pipelines.

Ensure data governance, compliance, and security requirements are met.

Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, DevOps, and engineering teams on CI / CD, automation, and platform improvements.

Monitor system performance, conduct code reviews, and implement automated testing practices.

Produce and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and operational processes.

Provide training and knowledge transfer to internal teams.

Required Technical Skills

Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Fabric and Azure services, including :

• Azure Data Factory
• Synapse Analytics
• Databricks
• Azure Blob Storage
• Azure SQL

Expertise in data modelling, ETL / ELT, and pipeline orchestration.

Programming proficiency in Python, Spark, Scala, and SQL.

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM templates, and Git.

Solid knowledge of CI / CD pipelines, preferably using Azure DevOps.

Strong understanding of security, governance, and compliance in cloud data platforms.

Leadership & Experience

Proven experience leading technical teams and delivering complex, end‑to‑end cloud data platforms.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to balance hands‑on technical work with leadership and strategic decision‑making.
