mscope busca un Tech Lead para dirigir el Radar Squad, encargándose de detectar señales externas y cuantificar su impacto a nivel de empresa dentro de una arquitectura en la nube AWS. Liderarás un equipo mixto de Data Engineers y un Data Scientist, definiendo normas de calidad y entregando soluciones productivas.

Se requiere experiencia de 5+ años en roles de datos, 2 años liderando equipos y dominio de Python/SQL y AWS. El puesto es híbrido: 2 días en oficina y 3 días remoto, en Madrid.

Formación

• 5+ años de experiencia en roles de datos intensivos (ingeniería de datos, analítica o ciencia de datos).
• Al menos 2 años liderando o coordinando equipos técnicos.
• Experiencia diseñando y operando arquitectura AWS para cargas de datos (S3, Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, Athena, RDS, EventBridge).
• Experiencia en Python para ingeniería de datos y aplicaciones analíticas; SQL para consultas y modelado de datos.
• D Fluidez en español e inglés.

Responsabilidades

• Dirigir el Radar Squad y las entregas de pipelines de ingestión y procesamiento en AWS.
• Mentorar al equipo de ingenieros y científico de datos en arquitectura, calidad de datos y CI/CD.
• Desarrollar modelos de cuantificación de impacto vinculando señales externas con la exposición a nivel de empresa.
• Gestión del ciclo de vida de entrega de salidas de Radar: feeds SFTP/S3, servicios API e integración front‑end.
• Colaborar con Product y Business para definir señales de alto valor y roadmap.

We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead to own and drive our Radar Squad, responsible for building and operating the signal detection and impact quantification engine behind mscope's intelligence. This squad monitors external signals — from minimum wage changes and commodity prices to M&A activity and regulatory shifts — and cross‑references them automatically with our proprietary microsector intelligence to produce company‑level impact assessments across multiple markets.

What we offer

• Architect and build scalable data ingestion and processing pipelines on AWS (Glue, Step Functions, Lambda, S3, Athena, EventBridge) to capture, normalise, and enrich quantitative and qualitative external signals in near real‑time
• Lead a cross‑functional team of Data Engineers and a Data Scientist, mentoring them on architecture decisions, data quality practices, best practices across the squad: testing, validation, orchestration, observability, CI/CD, documentation and the integration of analytical models into production
• Design and optimise impact quantification models that link external signals (SMI, energy prices, interest rates, raw materials) to company‑level exposure using mscope's 550+ microsector taxonomy and financial data
• Own the full delivery lifecycle of Radar outputs: SFTP/S3 data feeds, API services, and the native integration module within our Intelligence front‑end
• Collaborate closely with Product and Business teams to identify high‑value signal types, prioritise the signal roadmap, and translate complex financial domain requirements into robust technical solutions

What we're looking for

• Strong quantitative and analytical mindset with a hands‑on, proactive engineering attitude At least 5 years of experience in data‑intensive roles (Data Engineering, Analytics, or Data Science), with at least 2 years leading or coordinating technical teams
• Solid experience designing and operating AWS cloud architecture for data workloads (S3, Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, Athena, RDS, EventBridge)
• Expert knowledge of Python for data engineering and analytical applications; SQL proficiency for complex querying and data modelling
• Demonstrated experience building ETL/ELT pipelines integrating heterogeneous external data sources (APIs, web scraping, structured feeds) at scale
• Fluency in Spanish and English

This gives extra points

• Background in Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Economics or other quantitative disciplines
• Hands‑on experience with event‑driven architectures and real‑time data processing (Kinesis, Kafka…)
• Experience with Big Data frameworks (PySpark, Glue) and distributed data processing
• Relevant experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform/CDK), and container environments (Docker, ECR)
• Experience in Financial Services, credit risk, or macroeconomic analysis
• Previous experience in a startup or fast‑paced environment where ownership and autonomy are key
