Job summary

Arxada is seeking a Tax Trainee based in Barcelona to support international tax operations. You will participate in data entry, tax reports, and documentation while collaborating with tax professionals across jurisdictions in a dynamic global environment.

This role provides practical exposure to corporate taxation, transfer pricing, and intercompany agreements, with opportunities to contribute to process improvements while balancing academic commitments.

Qualifications

• Currently studying for a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or Law.
• Available for a part-time internship (approximately 20-30 hours per week) and able to combine work responsibilities with academic commitments.
• Business fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to learning and taking ownership.

Responsibilities

• Gather and organize tax filing information for all legal entities across the business.
• Assist with data entry and the preparation of tax reports and related analyses.
• Maintain and update tax databases, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
• Support the preparation and maintenance of Transfer Pricing (TP) documentation.
• Create and maintain a listing of existing intercompany (IC) agreements.
• Assist with document collection and compliance-related tax activities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to obtain and validate tax-related information.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Tax function.

As a Tax Trainee based in Barcelona, you will play an important role in supporting Arxada's international tax operations.
