Airbus Defence And Space in Getafe, Madrid, is seeking a Systems Engineer to shape MMD HW&SW specifications and drive integration for MALE RPAS. You will work from a Getafe lab context, coordinating with external teams to deliver secure, scalable software components and ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards.

You will lead technical discussions, perform performance analyses and contribute to airworthiness software on a high-profile defense program, leveraging strong teamwork

Formación

• Completed degree in Computer Science or a comparable field with focus on Computer Science.
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• 5 years IT administration experience.
• 5 years SW integration experience in Linux environments (preferably RHEL).
• Proficiency in German and English (written and spoken).

Responsabilidades

• Install and administer Getafe laboratory Linux environments (RHEL) and server-client networks.
• Manage virtualization (VirtualBox, Proxmox, Hyper-V) and container tech (Docker/Podman).
• Develop and maintain MMD integration using API Rest, WebSockets, and OpenAPI.
• Manage PKI, certificates, IAM, PAM, SSO and federation technologies.
• Provide technical leadership to suppliers and ensure architectural alignment.
• Conduct performance, capacity planning and troubleshooting.
• Ensure security policy compliance and regulatory standards.
• Support external SW development teams with requirements evolution and testing activities.

As a Systems Engineer in MMD HW&SW Specification, Development Coordination and Integration, you will shape MMD and RLMIS software components for MALE RPAS, ensuring their integration into the overall system. You work within a Getafe lab context, collaborating with external development teams to drive quality and secure, scalable solutions. You will lead technical discussions, perform performance analyses, and ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards.
