What to expect :

Bertrandt, a leader in innovative solutions for the Aerospace sector, is looking for a Telecommunications Systems Engineer with experience and passion for the development, specification and design of advanced communications systems. This role focuses on contributing to the design and implementation of systems for cutting‑edge aerospace platforms, ensuring interoperability, security and efficiency of tactical and operational communications.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and specify integrated communications systems, including modeling with SysML (desirable) and specification with IBM DOORS, to meet the technical and operational requirements of Aerospace projects ensuring cascade traceability.
• Lead the gathering of high-level requirements with clients and stakeholders, ensuring alignment of project objectives with operational needs and performance expectations.
• Prepare detailed technical documentation, including SDD and SRD, to guide the development, testing, and integration of telecommunications systems on aerospace platforms.
• Coordinate the preparation of plans and specifications for critical certifications, including DO-254, DO-178, environmental and testing certifications, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Plan and supervise flight tests, analyzing data for adjustments and improvements in systems, with the aim of guaranteeing maximum effectiveness and operational safety.
• Actively participate in management activities, such as team coordination, project planning, follow‑up meetings and documentation of minutes, contributing to the success and delivery of projects (On‑time, On‑Quality).

What you bring along :

Degree in Telecommunications Engineering or related field.

Experience in the design and specification of telecommunications systems, preferably in the Aerospace sector.

Desirable modeling knowledge for specification (SysML, Simulink, UML...), IBM DOORS, and standards related to aerospace communication and certifications (DO-254, DO-178).

Familiarity with reference aerospace platforms in the field of transportation and combat.

Ability to lead requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and coordination of multidisciplinary teams.

High proactivity, excellent synthesis and organization skills, with outstanding skills in written and oral communication.

Be part of a systems engineering team with expectations of professional growth.

Fluency in Spanish and English (technical and professional).
