About the Role

Join our team as a Sustainability Analyst, where your skills will contribute to advancing natural climate solutions and fostering sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze ecosystem indicators to assess the health of tropical forest projects and generate actionable insights.
  • Utilize GIS tools, remote sensing technology, and relevant methodologies to support monitoring efforts for natural climate solutions and forest restoration initiatives.
  • Conduct in‑depth research on the Voluntary Carbon Market (trends, competitors, and Verra methodologies) to inform project design.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop sustainability strategies, prepare reports for stakeholders, and support efforts to measure and communicate project impacts.

Required Skills
  • Advanced data analytics skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Fluency in English and French (written and spoken).
  • Ability to work autonomously and diligently in remote settings.
  • Familiarity with Google Suite and other remote working tools.
  • Familiarity with key tropical forest ecosystem indicators (Biomass, Biodiversity, Ecological Connectivity).
Desired Skills (Not Mandatory)
  • Experience in a startup environment is a plus.
  • Familiarity with GIS tools (e.g., QGIS, ArcGIS) and data analysis (e.g., Python, VBA, R).
  • Experience with remote sensing tools (forest monitoring).
  • Knowledge of the voluntary carbon market is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of natural climate solutions is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of Verra AFOLU Methodologies is a strong plus.
