Job summary

Sixense Spain, a VINCI Construction subsidiary, is seeking a Survey Engineer to join our teams. You will design, install and maintain survey-based monitoring systems for major infrastructure projects, process data, and support client interactions across the project lifecycle.

Ideal candidates have a surveying/geotechnics background, familiarity with robotic Total Stations, strong data handling skills (Excel, SQL), and a proactive, team-oriented mindset in an international setting.

Qualifications

• Trained surveyor with an educational background in surveying / geotechnic.
• Experience on large construction projects is an advantage.
• High safety awareness and procedures.
• Experience with robotic/automated Total Stations used on large infrastructure projects.
• Strong data manipulation skills (Excel and basic SQL) and willingness to learn new software.
• Basic electronics and computer networking understanding.
• Curious, proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with clear communication.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills; coordinate multiple stakeholders.
• Well-organized, autonomous and capable of managing several projects.

Responsibilities

• Realise the design, setup and maintenance of survey-based monitoring equipment and data collection.
• Perform pre-installation, on-site installation, post-installation and maintenance tasks.
• Attend client meetings and deliver presentations as needed.
• Support Project Manager with documentation, claims, and risk assessments.
• Enforce safety rules and maintain a safe work environment.
• Prepare submittals, designs, material purchases and records.
• Assist in risk assessment.
