Sixense Spain is seeking a Survey Engineer to join our teams in Barcelona. You will design, install and maintain survey-based monitoring equipment, collect data, and reduce it for professional export to clients in GIS-based software.

You will engage with clients, support project managers with documentation and risk assessments, and ensure safety and quality across multi-disciplinary projects within the VINCI network.

Formación

• Trained surveyor with educational background in surveying.
• Experience on large construction projects is an advantage.
• High awareness of safety and understanding of safety procedures.
• Experience with robotic/automated Total Stations used on large infrastructure.
• Ability to manipulate data in Excel and basic SQL; eagerness to learn new software.
• A basic level of understanding in electronics and computer networking.
• Curious, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with clear communication.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills; team oriented.

Responsabilidades

• Realise the design, setup and maintenance of survey-based monitoring equipment and data collection.
• On-site installation, pre/post-installation and data processing; contribute to reporting.
• Attend client meetings and participate in presentations as assigned.
• Provide documentation and support Project Manager with claims, change orders and risk assessments.
• Enforce safety rules and ensure compliance with procedures.
• Prepare submittals, designs, material purchases and accurate record keeping.
• Assist in risk assessment.

YOUR MISSIONS :

Do you have experience in surveying, geomatics engineering, or geospatial data management, and are you passionate about measurement technologies and supporting major construction and infrastructure projects?
Do you enjoy combining fieldwork, data processing, and client interaction, from survey planning and monitoring system installation to data analysis and reporting?

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities :

- Realise the design, setup and maintenance of survey-based monitoring equipment, data collection, data reduction to minimize errors induced by site conditions utilizing statistical methods, configuration of relational database and presentation of treated data into a GIS based software for professional data export to Sixense clients in support of construction activities,

- Perform completely (design, setup, completion and reporting) the task of pre-installation, On-site installation, Post-Installation, On-site maintenance and operations:,Decommissioning and disposal

- Attends client meetings and participates in presentations as assigned,

- Provides documentation and supports Project Manager to prepare and track claims, change orders, extra work orders, risk assessments.

- Enforces the rules in accordance with all applicable regulations, policies, methods, and practices developed by the Company; Responsible for safety in the work environment

- Prepares submittals, designs, material purchases, and accurate record keeping.

- Assists in risk assessment
