Airbus Helicopters España, SA is seeking a seasoned finance professional in Spain to lead controlling activities for HO Programs & Operations. You will set up and monitor contracts, ensure profitability, and drive performance reporting for multiple contracts with cross-functional teams.

The role requires 3+ years in finance with at least 2 years in controlling, strong English, and SAP/Excel proficiency. A university degree in economics/business (plus IE/MBA) is desirable.

• Academic background includes Economics and Business Administration.
• Industrial Engineering background with MBA/Industrial Organization exposure.

• Validates OP/FC assumptions and analyzes monthly contract results.
• Provides reporting, performance measures, and corrective actions to stakeholders.
• Monitors costs vs plan, manages invoicing, cash flow, and working capital.
• Supports bid costing, pricing, and costing rationales for business cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct report to the HO Programs & Operations Business Control Spain & Support & Service Controlling Teamleader
• Based on the Airbus Helicopters Group policy and strategy:
• Sets up and control of contracts, concerning profitability, risk / opportunities and contingency assessment and management, from business case (handover) to contract / activity closing.
• Builds up, discusses and substantiates the OP / FC.
• Ensures assumptions consistency of OP / FC and validates its financial compliance.
• Controls the monthly result of related contracts / activities.
• Follows up and monitors all the parameters in connection with the business financial performance for the current year.
• Sets up and provides relevant reporting and synthesis, performance measurement, root causes for deviations and corresponding advisement and corrective actions to the Business and various stakeholders.
• Challenges all operational entities involved in the Business financial performance, internally and externally in order to trigger corrective and improvement actions.
• Follows-up & challenges the Business-related contracts profitability (CTC).
• Assists S&S managers for the CTC management including workload plan/ Headcount & Productivity follow up
• Monitors actual costs vs planned costs in a monthly basis, providing sensible feedback and advisement to the corresponding activity manager.
• Monthly Invoicing, free Cash Flow follow up & working capital analysis (inventories/ Debtors etc=)
• Builds up, discusses and substantiates all the business cases needed (offers, improvement projects, developments). Ensures assumptions and results coherence so that eventually provides financial validation.
• Headcount controlling: productivity and workload, headcount follow-up.
• Manages the CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION processes since the contract signature up to the invoicing and payment:
• Ensures the monthly and year-end-closing including all necessary provisions and documentation for the auditors.
• Builds up Forecast on the contract administration perimeter and warns about the trends and deviations, acting accordingly.
• Sets up and ensures adequate contract provisions are implemented for risk avoidance / mitigation during contract execution.
• Monitors prices evolution and updates contract conditions accordingly.
• Supports the BID COSTING AND PRICING processes:
• Supports, at the required extent, the biding and contracting process, back office and direct negotiation with customers when required.
• Ensures quotations are consistently supported by feasible assumptions.
• Builds up costing rationales and validates associated business cases.
• Develops business modelling and pricing strategy.
• Ensures identified risks are correctly assessed and corresponding provisions are considered to cover associated contingencies and to mitigate / avoid those risks.

Professional Experience

> 3 years in Finance with at least 2 years in controlling.

Academic Background

University Degree in Economics. University Degree in Business Administration. Industrial Engineer (plus MBA) Industrial Organization Engineer
