Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space SAU is seeking a Supply Management MRTT officer in Sevilla. You will act as the focal point with suppliers for operational activities, ensure on-time and on-quality deliveries, and interface with internal customers to provide visibility and protect business interests.

You will monitor deviations, lead recovery actions, and drive process improvements while collaborating with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Program teams in a complex, international environment.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong English and Spanish.
• Team spirit and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Desirable: knowledge in Supply Chain and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

Job Description:An opportunity for a Suply Management MRTT officer has arisen within Airbus Defense and Space , Sevilla.RESPONSABILITIES : Supply Officer in charge of the following activities:Act as focal point towards suppliers for operational activities, being responsible for On-Time and On-Quality deliveries.Act as main interface to internal customers ensuring the right level of visibility and customer protection, fostering our “customer oriented” value and increasing our business impact.Issue Resolution: Monitor supply chain deviations, lead recovery plans and implement containment actions to minimize impact.Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize stock levels.Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Program to ensure a seamless workflow.Vendor Management: Support relationships with key suppliers, assisting in contract negotiations and monitoring service levels.Data Analysis: Analyze performance metrics (KPIs) to identify trends and propose innovative solutions.Compliance & Safety: Ensure all operations meet internal quality standards and external regulations.Responsible for proactively and reactively ensuring Airbus D&S product conformity according to the defined quality inspection planInteract with suppliers (remotely and/or at suppliers) as escalationSKILLS:Degree in EngineeringLevel C1 English and Spanish.Analytical and problem-solving skills.Team spirit and great collaboration skills.Valid driving licence.Desirable Skills:General knowledge In Supply Chain and experience within Airbus Defense and Space MRTTNegotiation skills.Ability to work in complex and international environments.WHICH BENEFITS WILL YOU HAVE AS AN AIRBUS EMPLOYEE?At Airbus we are focused on our employees and their welfare.
