Job description

Mission In the framework of the Logistics transformation deployment and the new distribution model across plants (MAR, DON, ALB, PLB), you act as the Focal Point at the Central HUB for Procurement Operations and SCQM. You support Supply Officers (SO), expedite flows for critical supplies/unplanned events, and manage operational issues (Clearing Cases, Non-Conformities under Supply Chain responsibility, Customs, Export Control) to secure business continuity and smooth inbound flows.

Main Activities & Key Responsibilities
1. Project Support & Supply Chain Readiness (Transition Phase)
  • Support project readiness prior to the warehouse opening, including PO modifications and batch updates in SAP.
  • Participate in process harmonization and alignment across the different industrial sites (MAR, DON, ALB, PLB).
  • Support local deployment (ALB) of the harmonized solutions.
2. Delivery Volume Forecasting & Inbound Surveillance
  • Deploy and monitor regular inbound delivery forecasts (up to ~70 900 PO lines for plants 1000 & 0210) to smooth workload and allow the Logistics Partner to adapt capacity.
  • Monitor order book POs and documentation upfront to detect deviations early and issue warnings to responsible SOs.
3. Clearing Cases (CLC) & Operational Expediting
  • Perform check routines on POs to solve issues in advance (division 1000, 0210 and ES02).
  • Execute PO amendments by delegation from SOs (addresses, confirmation keys, line/qty changes).
  • Expedite critical supplies and hot topics blocked by administrative, technical, export control, or customs issues.
4. Quarantine Area & Non-Conformity (NC) Management
  • Lead and drumbeat the quarantine monitoring routine with stakeholders to prioritize resolution (~4000 Admin NCs/year), specifically for NCs under Supply Officers / Suppliers responsibility.
  • Work in close collaboration with the Logistics Quality Manager, who is responsible for drumbeating the quarantine area management.
  • Monitor the "Return to Supplier" (RMA) process and return flow logistics (containers, transportpackaging for ~3 100 PO lines/year) until completion.
5. Customs & Export Control Support
  • Customs: Verify Country of Origin (COO) for incoming PNs/POs in SAP, relaunching suppliers when needed.
  • Export Control: Perform anticipation monitoring and routine check routines (ITAR, EUS, license numbers) on POs/PNs prior to receipt.
  • Document processes to prepare the future transfer of routine checks to the Logistics Partner.
6. Reporting & Continuous Improvement
  • Issue comprehensive dashboards tracking quarantine age/value, CLC status, task completion lead times, and backlogs by commodity.
  • Gather root-cause data on recurring deviations (NCs, Customs, Export Control) to propose structural solutions (training, SAP, process updates).
  • Monitor repetition of "challenged NCs" to adapt and refine incoming inspection criteria applied by LSP/AH.
7. Expertise & Lead
  • Focus on tactical execution, technical guidance and problem-solving to ensure smooth operations on the Central HUB
  • Develop local team cohesion with engagement and customer oriented mindset

Environment: Interfacing: Supporting ~200 Supply Officers across 5 Procurement Commodities and coordinating closely with SCQM, Logistics Quality, Logistics Partners (DAHER), Ops Quality, and Design.
