Quaker Houghton in Barcelona invites a seasoned Supply Chain Manager to lead a two-plant operation, drive process improvements and partner with key functions to meet business needs. The role emphasizes team leadership and cross-functional collaboration within a dynamic, customer‑driven environment.

Based at our Barcelona site, you will coordinate logistics, production planning and warehousing while fostering a safe, proactive culture and pursuing continuous enhancement of performance indicators.

Formación

• 5+ years in a similar role with team management and SC expertise.
• Spanish & English professional level spoken and written.
• Strong customer focus, teamwork, communication, flexibility and safety awareness.
• Based in Barbera del Vallès / Santa Perpètua de Mogoda, Barcelona area.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and support execution of supply chain activities for two plants in Barberà del Vallès and Santa Perpètua de Mogoda.
• Optimize supply chain processes while maintaining high standards.
• Create analysis tools, statistics and reports to control and improve operations.
• Ensure performance of logistics partners (transportation, warehousing, contractors).
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Finance and other departments to align with company goals.
• Manage shipping, production planning and warehouse teams, ensuring wellbeing, engagement and performance.
• Support Site Manager, EMEA SC Manager or Central Team on projects, budget creation and KPI reporting.

As Supply Chain Manager , you will participate in a team effort to create a highly efficient operations process in a customer-driven environment, while leading the local SC team to successfully meet business needs. This is an exciting opportunity at a time when we are investing to strengthen our market position.

What will you do?

• Coordinate and support execution of supply chain activities for our two manufacturing plants in Barberà del Vallès and Santa Perpètua de Mogoda.
• Optimization of the supply chain processes while guaranteeing high standards.
• Create analysis tools, statistics and reports to control and improve operations.
• Ensure performance of logistics partners such as transportation, warehousing, contractors, etc.
• Work closely with key stakeholders such as Sales, Customer Service or Finance and other departments to ensure alignment to company goals.
• Manage the shipping, production planning and warehouse teams, ensuring their wellbeing engagement and performance.
• Support Site Manager, EMEA Supply Chain Manager or Central Team on projects, budget creation and overall KPI reporting.

What are we looking for?

• Experience: At least 5 years' experience in a similar role where team management, Supply Chain expertise, Lean Manufacturing and 5S know-how are key to success. JDEdwards knowledge is highly valued. We will provide any additional training needed.
• Languages: Spanish & English professional level spoken and written is a must.
• Soft skills: Customer focus, Team-player, Strong Communication skills, Flexibility, Proactivity and High Safety conscious. Safety is at the core of our culture.
• Location: Based in the Barbera del Vallès and Santa Perpètua de Mogoda, Vallès, Barcelona.
