We are seeking a dynamic Supplier, Customer and Manufacturing Quality Engineer to lead and coordinate the APQP / PPAP activities, process changes management according to the Lear Ardasa’s procedures, and manage some other functions withing the quality department.The candidate will have the support of a Senior Quality Engineer with the same role and their Quality Manager for at least six months, providing training and adaptation to the position, to adequately perform the assigned tasks and correctly carry out their role functions.

Lear Ardasa is an automotive manufacturing plant located in Burgos, Spain, with a 30-year history. Part of Lear's Structures Division in Europe, it is a leading manufacturer of seat structures and other automotive components. Lear Ardasa operates with a strong focus on quality, safety, and continuous improvement, and is IATF 16949, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 certified.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work in a cross-functional Project and Plant teams to coordinate and execute the necessary tasks to obtain the required PSWs and PPAPs in time.
  • Work closely with engineering, production, quality, and logistics departments at Lear Ardasa.
  • Define and update Control Plans.
  • PSWs & PPAPs management in time.
  • Track and report Quality KPIs according to the assigned functions.
  • Compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Support Quality audits and compliance (Customer Quality audits and IATF 16949 audits).
  • Collaborate with suppliers to solve quality issues.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, or similar related field (FP II or master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in PPAP / APQP activities, knowing roles and activities in a quality department within the automotive industry (proven track record in Quality activities is mandatory).
  • Well understanding of the daily operations in a manufacturing plant of the automotive industry.
  • Proficient in Quality Core Tools (mainly CP) and standard Quality KPIs.
  • Communication, leadership, and quality problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in English. Proficiency in spoken and written English. French is also desirable but no mandatory.
  • Willingness to travel as needed (punctually).
  • Open for further development and responsibilities within the organization.
Valuable extra knowledge
  • Knowledge in manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge as an internal auditor (Processes, IATF)
  • Proficiency in office tools : Windows Office.
