LCI Education in Barcelona seeks a Research Management Lead to design and implement the institution's strategic research plan in line with accreditation objectives.

You will identify funding calls, coordinate proposals, monitor outputs, and manage ethics and IP compliance, partnering with universities and industry to advance innovative projects.

Fluency in Spanish and Catalan, strong writing and negotiation skills, and a track record in higher education research administration are required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in research management in a university or higher education setting.
• Experience managing competitive funding calls (H2020/Horizon Europe, Ministry, AGAUR, etc.).
• Knowledge of the Spanish and Catalan university system and accreditation processes (AQU Catalunya, ANECA).

Responsabilités

• Design and implement the institution's strategic research plan aligned with accreditation objectives.
• Identify and manage funding calls (national, European, international).
• Coordinate preparation, submission, and technical-financial justification of research projects.
• Track faculty scientific output indicators and keep the institutional research database up to date.
• Support faculty in preparing applications for research bonuses and accreditations.
• Manage research ethics committees and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Establish and maintain partnerships with universities, research centers, companies, and public bodies for collaborative projects.
• Prepare periodic monitoring reports and the annual research report for management and accreditation bodies.
• Organize and promote scientific outreach activities.
• Oversee the budgetary management of research projects with the finance department.
• Represent the institution before research networks and consortia in education and creative sectors.
