Zusammenfassung

IUCN World Commission on Environmental Law seeks a Senior Programme Finance Officer to strengthen financial management, donor compliance, and reporting across portfolios. You will partner with programme managers and regional teams to ensure sound budgeting, cost recovery, and timely financial data across NAV/Business Central and related systems.

This role covers the full project cycle from proposal through closure, with opportunities to develop monitoring tools, dashboards, and management

Qualifikationen

• Advanced degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• Professional qualification (ACCA/CPA/CIMA/CA) required.
• 8+ years in finance, grants or project financial management in international settings.
• Experience with donor-funded projects and EU or major donors.
• Proven ability to manage multi-country or multi-partner programmes.
• Strong English, French and/or Spanish a plus.

Aufgaben

• Provide proactive financial guidance to programme managers and teams.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial projections; monitor variances.
• Ensure donor compliance, reporting, and audit coordination.
• Maintain finance data integrity in NAV/Business Central and related systems.
• Develop dashboards, tools, and reports for programme performance.
• Oversee contracts, procurement reviews, and internal financial controls.
• Collaborate with regional finance teams and partners on financial management.
