Job summary

Arxada seeks an Enterprise Data Architect in Barcelona to shape our digital future by turning data into a strategic asset. You will define scalable data architectures, enable AI and analytics, and ensure data is trusted, secure and accessible across the enterprise.

You will collaborate with IT and business teams to deliver robust data platforms, govern data models, and drive data-driven decision making across functions and sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field.
• 5+ years in Data Architecture or data leadership roles.
• Experience in manufacturing/industrial environments and PI System.
• Cloud-based data solutions and enterprise platforms experience.
• Fluent English; Azure Data Engineer/Architect certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver the enterprise data strategy and architecture roadmap.
• Govern data models, standards, and architecture principles.
• Architect data platforms for collection, storage, processing, and analytics.
• Lead data integration frameworks including APIs, ETL/ELT, and streaming.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure end-to-end data usability and governance.
• Embed security, privacy, and compliance into all designs.
• Evaluate new technologies to drive innovation and improvement.
• Promote data-driven decision making for business growth.
