Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe (Madrid) seeks a Category Buyer to establish procurement activities, guarantee supplier contracts, and secure optimal purchasing terms for the company.

The role involves bid presentation, contract monitoring across development and support phases, and close collaboration with suppliers and internal stakeholders to minimize total cost of ownership and risk.

Formación

• Education: University degree or master's degree.
• Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience related to the position.
• Soft skills: Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on solving operational problems.
• Highly organized and methodical approach to work.
• Languages: Advanced level in English.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to the supply activity, manage the presentation of bids and the negotiation of contracts to achieve the best purchasing conditions.
• Monitor the contract with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure compliance and performance across logistics, support, quality, and cost.
• Manage daily relationships with suppliers and ongoing projects to optimize customer value while minimizing total cost of ownership and risks.
• Be part of multifunctional teams during bid submission, contracting and contract validity phases.
