Job summary

Salomon is seeking a Store Manager (M/F) for the La Roca del Vallès store to lead a high-performing team and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will drive brand standards, manage operations and finances, and mentor the Assistant Store Manager and team towards personal and career growth.

You will recruit, onboard, and develop staff, maintain inventory control, and ensure a safe, engaging store environment while hitting budgeted KPIs and seasonal targets.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of relevant experience in a retail leadership position, ideally in footwear.
• A People-First Manager with experience leading large teams (15+ people).
• Passion for sports and fashion with a strong professional mindset.
• Experience interacting with customers and delivering exceptional experiences.
• Proven ability to build strong customer relationships.
• Motivated, eager to learn, and open to change and continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in MS Office and understanding of key retail performance indicators.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Willing to work a shift schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Familiarity with Salomon products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Motivate and inspire the team by articulating the store's vision and maximizing brand power.
• Manage the store scorecard: people, operations, finance and customers to deliver high results.
• Act as a role model on the floor, ensuring customer needs are understood and met with high-quality service.
• Oversee store inventory levels and align with market and customer needs; ensure safety and compliance.
• Manage budgeted operating expenses and monitor in-store KPIs; track loss prevention.
• Lead in-store recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing staff development.

We are looking for a new Store Manager M/F for our Salomon store (FO) in La Roca del Vallès! As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for building and leading a high performing store team to ensure that they:

• Achieve set goals

• Be a proactive and positive team player

You will provide the highest level of customer experience and deliver the vision of the brand, supporting and mentoring the Assistant Store Manager and the Store Team with their personal and career development.

Your key responsibilities

Leadership

• You will motivate and inspire the team by articulating the compelling vision for the store, reflecting and maximizing the power of the Salomon brand
• You will manage all aspects of the store scorecard: people, operations, finance and customers to deliver consistently high performing results

Customer Service

• You will act as a role model and ensure that the team understands the customer's needs and profile, so they can deliver consistently high-quality service
• You will be present and visible on the shop floor, interacting with customers and team members

Operations

• You will effectively manage the store inventory levels ensuring the market and customer needs are met
• You will deliver operational best practice through partnership with the District Manager
• You will oversee activities, adhering to building safety, health and safety standards and inspections; maintaining a safe and secure environment for the team and customers

Sales and Finance

• You will manage the resources to achieve the budgeted level of operating expenses and the in-store customer service experience
• You will monitor a loss prevention program to protect the company's inventory and assets
• You will deliver the P&L and retail KPI's in line with budget and forecast

Management

• You will effectively lead the in-store team recruitment
• You will work with the ASM to ensure that all members of the team receive effective onboarding and ongoing training and education
• You will actively support and deliver the personal career development opportunities of the store team

Qualifications

Your Profile:

• You have at least 4years of relevant experience in a retail leadership position, ideally in the footwear industry
• You are a true People-First Manager with experience leading large teams (15+ people)
• You have a passion for sports and fashion combined with a strong professional mindset
• You love interacting with customers and creating exceptional experiences
• You can demonstrate experience in building strong customer relationships
• You are motivated, eager to learn, and open to change and continuous improvement
• Proficiency in MS Office and understanding of key retail performance indicators
• You are fluent in English and in Spanish
• You are willing to work a shift schedule, including evenings and weekends
