TuxCare Inc. is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead critical components for KernelCare and SecureChain. This fully remote role blends hands-on software development with technical product ownership, requiring independent work and deep Linux expertise.

You will design, implement, and maintain high-impact features across Linux-based environments, collaborating with engineering, product, and sales teams while embracing AI-assisted development to improve efficiency and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proficient coding in Python/Go/Java/Rust with production-grade delivery.
• Strong Linux experience in production environments.
• Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of major projects or workstreams.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication.

Responsibilities

• Own major product components and drive end-to-end workstreams.
• Gather requirements with stakeholders and translate into technical plans.
• Design scalable system architecture and make decision making.
• Develop, review, and operate production-grade components with focus on reliability and security.
• Communicate progress, blockers, risks, and dependencies clearly.
