Job summary

SentinelOne, Inc. seeks a Staff Cloud Workload Security Researcher to research evasions against our sensors across Windows, Linux and macOS, and to drive innovative detection strategies for cloud environments.

You will work with threat intel and engineering teams to strengthen detection capabilities and reduce attacker tradecraft. The role requires 4+ years in red teaming or security research, hands-on Python and C/C++, and a deep understanding of cloud architectures.

Qualifications

• Experience in cloud attack path analysis and threat modeling.
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Kubernetes.
• Deep understanding of cloud security principles and configurations.
• 4+ years in red teaming, security research or offensive security; OS internals knowledge.
• Experience coding in Python and C/C++; knowledge of EDR internals is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify new attack techniques and emulate them to improve detection engines.
• Analyze potential attack paths in cloud environments and across systems.
• Prioritize vulnerabilities that could be exploited in cloud platforms.
• Build tools for detection assessments and proofs of concept.
• Collaborate with threat intelligence and engineering teams to close detection gaps.
