STACKIT is seeking a MongoDB-focused engineer to develop and enhance the database-as-a-service offering. You will join an international scrum team building and operating our cloud MongoDB services.

Key focus areas include automation, staying current with MongoDB features and Kubernetes controllers, and serving as a 3rd-level expert for STACKIT MongoDB.

Formación

• Experience with MongoDB databases.
• Experience with DevOps tooling (GitLab, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Monitoring, IaC).
• Experience in development (Golang) to develop REST APIs and tests.
• Passion for NoSQL technologies.
• Flexible, proactive and committed, with ability to work in an international team.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and improve the database as a service offering for MongoDB.
• Work in an international scrum team that develops and administers its own cloud service for MongoDB databases.
• Develop automation processes to simplify the operation of cloud databases.
• Stay up to date with the latest features of MongoDB and its components such as MongoDB Controllers for Kubernetes.
• Serve as a reliable point of contact for internal projects and act as a 3rd level solution expert for STACKIT MongoDB.

Your tasks

• Your primary focus will be on developing and improving the database as a service offering for MongoDB at STACKIT.
• You will work in an international scrum team that develops and administers its own cloud service for MongoDB databases.
• You will develop automation processes to simplify the operation of cloud databases.
• You will stay up to date with the latest features of MongoDB and its respective components such as MongoDB Controllers for Kubernetes.
• You will serve as a reliable point of contact for our internal projects.
• You will act as a 3rd level solution expert for STACKIT MongoDB.

Your profile

• You have experience with MongoDB databases.
• Ideally, you have experience with DevOps tooling (Gitlab, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Monitoring, Infrastructure-as-a-Code)
• Ideally, you have experience in development (Golang) (e.g. to develop REST APIs, write e2e tests to check k8s manifests, … )
• You have passion and enthusiasm for new technologies and topics related to NoSQL databases.
• You possess a high degree of flexibility, initiative, and commitment.
• You enjoy being part of an international team and can communicate effectively in English.
