Digidentity is seeking a Senior Automated QA Engineer to design, develop, and execute automated tests ensuring product quality. The role may involve manual testing, debugging, and implementing corrective actions to maintain robust release readiness.

You will stay current with QA trends, collaborate with development teams, and help advance testing processes to support secure, reliable software in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• 5 years in QA including automation experience.
• Basic knowledge of API and microservices structures.
• Experience testing mobile applications.
• Experience with Agile environments and Scrum.
• Strong analytic skills and accuracy.
• Fluent in English (verbal and written).
• Self-assertive, works well individually and in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts.
• Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects.
• Perform manual testing when automation is not applicable or to verify results.
• Design and document detailed test plans, cases, and scripts.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and provide defect reports.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure existing functions remain stable.

Senior Automated QA Engineer

The Senior Automated QA Engineer is responsible for developing and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications. This role also involves openness to performing manual testing when necessary, debugging issues, and defining corrective actions. The engineer ensures that products meet the required quality standards before release and stays updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the quality assurance process.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts.
• Execute automated test cases and analyze results to identify software defects.
• Perform manual testing when automated tests are not applicable or to verify the results of automated tests.
• Design and document detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and provide detailed defect reports.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure existing functionalities remain unaffected by new changes.
• Review and improve existing QA processes, methodologies, and tools.
• Ensure compliance with established quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Experience & Qualifications

• 5 years in a QA position including automation experience (Selenium/Appium, BDD testing tool like Cucumber or Rspec).
• Basic knowledge of API and micro services structures.
• Experience with testing mobile applications.
• Experience working with Agile environment and knowledge of Scrum principles.
• Strong analytic skills, accuracy and a positive attitude.
• Highly proficient in English, both verbal and written.
• Self-assertive, work well individually and also able to work well in a team.
