Celonis is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable software across the stack. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate business needs into effective technical solutions and high-quality user experiences.

You will mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement in engineering standards, ensuring performance, reliability, and security across systems.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional experience developing and maintaining full-stack applications.
• Proficient in Java with NodeJS experience considered a plus.
• Strong experience with frontend frameworks (Angular and/or React).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Understanding of cloud environments and deployment tools (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD).
• Proven ability to write well-tested, maintainable, and scalable code.
• Excellent problem-solving and collaborative skills.

The Team

The Team is part of Orchestration Engine & Actions organization mainly focused on data and built-in actions. The Orchestration Engine & Actions organization is dedicated to building scalable, reliable, and high-performance solutions that power critical operational workflows. Our team focuses on developing features that enable seamless execution of operational use cases, ensuring efficiency, automation, and flexibility for our customers. We work closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and deliver impactful solutions that enhance the overall orchestration experience.

The Role

As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining high-quality, scalable software solutions across the stack. You’ll contribute to both frontend and backend systems, ensuring seamless integration, performance, and reliability. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions that deliver exceptional user experiences.

Your experience in modern software development practices, code quality, and system design will help drive the team toward technical excellence. You’ll also mentor junior engineers, share best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement in engineering standards and workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-quality software solutions across the frontend and backend.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical implementations.
• Ensure system reliability, security, and performance through thoughtful design and testing.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.

• Contribute to system architecture discussions and help shape technical direction within the team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience developing and maintaining full-stack applications.
• Strong proficiency in Java (in addition, NodeJS is nice to have).
• Solid experience with modern frontend frameworks (Angular and/or React).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Understanding of cloud environments and deployment tools (e.g., AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines).
• Proven ability to write well-tested, maintainable, and scalable code.
