Socialpoint seeks a Spine Animator Intern to help create engaging character animations, VFX, and UI assets for Monster Legends and Dragon City teams. You will work closely with artists and developers to ensure animations match the game's visual style and energy.

The role emphasizes learning Spine within a game production pipeline, contributing to high-quality assets, and growing collaboratively within a world-renowned mobile game studio in Barcelona.

Qualifications

• Experience in 2D animation, either in projects or coursework.
• Solid understanding of timing, weight, anticipation, posing and follow-through.
• Knowledge of skeletal or cut-out animation techniques is a plus.
• Portfolio showing appealing, high-quality animations in different styles.
• Creative, curious, detail-oriented and able to learn quickly with a team.
• Willingness to receive feedback and grow within the team.
• Experience with Spine or similar tools such as Harmony, Maya, 3ds Max or Blender.
• Proficiency with Photoshop and asset creation for games.

Responsabilités

• Create high-quality in-game animations aligned with project style and energy.
• Collaborate with animators, artists, developers, designers and producers.
• Participate in animation reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Prepare assets to be game-ready following technical guidelines and pipelines.
