Job summary

La Universidad de Huelva, a través de su Departamento de Recursos Humanos, busca un Técnico Especialista para el proyecto AGROBIO - Doñana. Se valoran capacidades de trabajo autónomo, experiencia en robótica terrestre y ROS, e interés en investigación. Se exige nivel de inglés, y se gestionarán documentos para la convocatoria.

El puesto es de 25 horas semanales, contrato permanente. Se requiere formación de grado y experiencia en sistemas robóticos y multispectral imaging.

Qualifications

• Capacidad de trabajo autónomo y resolución de problemas.
• Experiencia y conocimientos en sistemas robóticos terrestres y ROS.
• Interés en investigación.
• Nivel de inglés bueno.

Responsibilities

• Soporte técnico en el ensamblaje físico, cableado y verificación de sensores.
• Soporte operativo en campo y asistencia técnica durante pruebas.
• Descarga y catalogación de datasets multiespectrales.
• Registro de incidencias y mantenimiento preventivo.
• Ejecución de pruebas y verificación de subsistemas.

An individual with the capacity for the autonomous work, initiative for problem-solving, and experience and knowledge in terrestrial robotic systems, navigation systems, sensors, ROS, and analysis of agricultural multispectral images. They must have an interest in research and the hability to tackle open-ended problems.

Amount: 1.357,50 € gross, monthly including the prorated share of extra payments

Duties and responsibilities:

• Technical support in the physical assembly, electronic wiring, cabling, and functional verification of robot sensors and actuators for ROS2 integration.
• On-site operational support and technical assistance during agricultural field trials and data acquisition missions.
• Downloading, cataloguing, structured storage, and basic pre-processing (standard radiometric calibration and quality control checks) of multispectral image datasets.
• Keeping experimental test logs, recording technical incidents, and performing routine preventive and corrective maintenance on robotic platforms and sensing equipment.
• Execution of functional bench tests and standard operational checkout procedures for electronic and mechanical subsystems in accordance with established guidelines.

Selection process

• Holding a higher qualification than required in the field of Engineering, valuing its relevance to the duties to be undertaken: 2 points.
• Having studied robotics modules: 1 point (12 ECTS == 1 point; 6 ECTS == 0.5 points).
• Academic transcript: 1 point.
• Experience in setting up robotic platforms and knowledge of ROS: 3 points.
• Experience in the acquisition and analysis of agricultural multispectral images: 2 points.
• Personal interview: 1 point.
