SaarGummi is seeking a Specialist Sustainability to coordinate the annual Corporate Carbon Footprint data collection, validation and reporting across plants in Europe. You will support verification by TÜV and help standardize environmental KPIs and data sources across the group.

The role requires a technical sustainability background, experience with CCF and GHG Protocol, and strong MS Office skills. International travel and cross-functional collaboration are expected.

Formación

• Bachelor or master in sustainability/environmental field.
• Experience with Corporate Carbon Footprint (CCF) and GHG Protocol.
• Knowledge of ESG standards (ISO14001/45001/50001) is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate data collection for Corporate Carbon Footprint (CCF) data from SaarGummi plants and perform plausibility checks.
• Prepare audit-ready documentation and evidence for external verification (ISO 14064-3) and coordinate with TÜV.
• Develop and maintain environmental KPI definitions, data sources and calculation rules across the group.
• Support training and knowledge transfer on environmental KPI definitions, data quality and CCF verification readiness.

With more than 5000 employees, we currently operate in Asia, Europe, North and South America.We attach particular importance to working in partnership with our customers and jointly developing tailored solutions from the initial idea through to implementation in the series production process.-THE POSITION IS NOT A REMOTE ONE-location: Loches, Spain (Madrid)Key responsibilities:Coordinate the annual collection, consolidation and validation of Corporate Carbon Footprint (CCF) data from SaarGummi plants, including Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 data, and perform plausibility, completeness and consistency checks according to defined reporting requirements and timelinesMaintain CCF calculation files, data sources, assumptions, emission factors and supporting evidence, and support the consistent application of CCF data definitions, organizational boundaries and calculation methodologies across SaarGummi plants to ensure traceability and consistency between reporting periodsPrepare and maintain audit-ready documentation and evidence for the external verification of the Corporate Carbon Footprint, including data trails, calculation files and supporting documentationSupport and coordinate the annual CCF verification process with TÜV by preparing requested information, coordinating data requests with plants and relevant functions, and supporting responses to verification questionsTrack verification findings and data gaps, support clarification with responsible plants and functions, and follow up corrective actions and required evidenceSupport the definition, documentation and maintenance of consistent environmental KPI definitions, calculation rules and data sources across the SaarGummi GroupCoordinate regular environmental data collection from plants and perform plausibility, completeness and consistency checks.Support, develop and maintain a consistent group-wide approach to waste data collection and waste KPI reportingCoordinate waste data collection from plants, including quantities, waste categories, treatment routes and relevant recycling/recovery information where availableMonitor and summarize relevant environmental regulatory developments and support the implementation of related data and reporting requirementsSupport ESG compliance related data collection, documentation and plausibility checks in cooperation with responsible functions and plantsSupport SBTi-related activities by preparing environmental and carbon data, documentation and progress trackingMaintain and update environmental topic overviews, including PFAS and VOC-related information, and coordinate related data requests with responsible plants and functionsPrepare and maintain templates, work instructions, calculation guidance and lessons learned for environmental data collection, KPI reporting and CCF verification.Support plant training and knowledge transfer on environmental KPI definitions, data quality, CCF data collection and audit/verification readiness.Support SaarGummi corporate culture and ensure observance of SaarGummi compliance in day-to-day work.Requirements/education:Completed technical studies (bachelor/master) with a focus on sustainability/environmental or a comparable field of study/training and qualificationPractical experience with Corporate Carbon Footprint (CCF), GHG Protocol and ISO14064-1Knowhow of data collection, consolidation and calculation and experience in external verification (ISO 14064-3) and practical knowledge with external verifiers (such as TÜV)Knowledge of ESG certifications of ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO50001 is a plusExperience with environmental regulatory topics, environmental KPI management & data qualityExperience with environmental processes such as waste management, water related topics and/or chemicals regulationBasic understanding of climate target-setting initiatives such as SBTi is an advantageExperience in EU law (PPWR, CBAM, EUDR etc.) or willingness to get knowledge about itIntercultural & social competenceWillingness to international travelsStructured and self-motivatedFluent in Business English, German would be an assetHigh skills in MS OfficeWe offer:International working environmentProfessional development opportunities (LinkedIn Learning, ...)
