Crossing Hurdles is seeking a Spanish Language Expert (Spain) for a remote contract role. The position requires recording and reviewing Spanish audio samples, collaborating on data collection workflows, and evaluating AI-generated transcriptions with a focus on Spain-specific pronunciation.

Responsabilidades

• Record and review Spanish audio samples from Spain to improve AI model accuracy.
• Collaborate with the customer team to design and execute speech data collection workflows.
• Evaluate AI transcriptions and pronunciations for phonetic accuracy and naturalness.
• Provide feedback on language usage, pronunciation nuances, and Spain-specific phonetics.
• Document linguistic observations to refine AI training processes.
• Ensure audio contributions meet agreed technical quality standards.

Position: Spanish Language Expert (Spain)

Type: Contract

Compensation: $10 - $35/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week

Role Responsibilities

• Record and review Spanish language audio samples with a native accent from Spain to enhance AI model accuracy.
• Collaborate with the customer s team to design and execute effective speech data collection workflows.
• Evaluate AI-generated transcriptions and pronunciations for phonetic accuracy and naturalness.
• Offer detailed feedback on language usage, pronunciation nuances, and phonetics specific to Spain s accent.

Requirements

• Have native proficiency in Spanish with an authentic accent from Spain.
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and be detail-oriented and collaborative.
• Have experience or familiarity with speech data collection and audio recording workflows.
• Have a solid understanding of phonetics and Spanish pronunciation patterns.
