Indra Space in Madrid is seeking a driven engineer to define and implement the FDIR architecture for European space systems, aligning with ECSS-E-ST-70-11C and ECSS-E-ST-70-41.

You will design system-level autonomy concepts, perform trade-off analyses, and coordinate across multidisciplinary teams to ensure robust spacecraft operation.

Qualifications include 5–10 years in ECSS-based space projects and fluent English.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven track record in complex space system projects with FDIR focus.
• Deep knowledge of ECSS-E-ST-70-11C and ECSS-E-ST-70-41.
• Familiarity with SAVOIR FDIR Handbook and reference architectures.
• Ability to balance hardware, software, and operations trade-offs.
• 5–10 years of experience under ECSS standards.
• High level of English.

Responsabilidades

• Define and develop the FDIR architecture for space systems.
• Ensure ECSS compliance and apply related standards.
• Design system-level autonomy concepts and functional architectures.
• Perform trade-off analyses between hardware redundancy, software autonomy, and ground interventions.
• Apply SAVOIR FDIR guidelines to ensure standardization.
• Coordinate FDIR activities across engineering teams.
• Support system engineering ensuring FDIR integration into spacecraft architecture.
• Review and validate technical documentation for quality and consistency.
