GMV is seeking a Senior Space Systems Engineer to design, structure and deliver high-value solutions across proposal development, system architecture, and mission design in international projects. You will integrate ground segment solutions and coordinate across subsystems with clients and internal teams.

Ideal candidates have 5–8 years in space systems engineering or related industries, fluent English, and experience with ground segment systems, MBSE, and systems architecture tools.

Formación

• 5–8 years of experience in Space Systems Engineering or in complex industries such as aerospace/defense/telecommunications.
• Experience with Ground Segment systems, including Monitoring & Control (M&C), operations, and mission data processing.
• Fluent English and strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel, primarily within Europe, with occasional travel to North America and Asia.
• Experience in proposal development, pre-sales, or complex bid engineering.
• Knowledge of systems architecture tools and MBSE.

Responsabilidades

• Integrating ground segment solutions with the different elements that make up complex space missions.
• Participating in the preparation of technical proposals (bids), ensuring technical consistency and added value for the customer.
• Collaborating in coordinating technical contributions across multiple subsystems (Ground Segment components, satellite, launcher, operators, antennas, flight segment, payload data processing, communications).
• Contributing to effort estimation, technical planning, and risk assessment during bidding and proposal phase.
• Working closely with customers and internal stakeholders to define and negotiate competitive technical solutions.
• Contributing to systems engineering activities and high-level architectural decisions within international environments.
