Opdenergy is expanding its Madrid team to hire a Solar O&M Specialist. The role entails managing PV plant portfolios, monitoring SCADA alarms, and preparing KPI reports. You will oversee subcontractors, perform site inspections, and ensure contractual compliance during operation.

The position offers a hybrid work model with two remote days per week, a permanent contract, private medical insurance, and ongoing training opportunities in a global, multicultural environment.

Formación

• Degree in Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or similar.
• Full command of English.
• Experience in PV plant operations & maintenance (≥3 years).
• Knowledge of SCADA data acquisition and analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Management and control of photovoltaic plant portfolios.
• Monitoring and verification of alarms and incidents through SCADA.
• Preparation of reports with the main project KPIs.
• Supervision of subcontractors and ongoing inspections.
• Periodic site visits to plants.
• Monitoring of contractual obligations during the operation phase.
• Preparation of annual operating budgets (P&L).
• Coordination with vendors, service providers, authorities and utilities.
• Stay up to date on environmental and legal requirements.
• Stay up to date on applicable technical regulations, tests, inspections, and required certifications.

We are currently looking for a Solar O&M Specialist to join our Madrid team. What will you help with?

Who you are

• Degree in Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or similar.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the described functions.
• Knowledge of SCADA systems for data acquisition, management, and analysis of technological processes (SCADA, RTU, PLC, etc.). What do we offer?
