Alstom busca un líder de equipo de V&V de software para impulsar las actividades de verificación, validación y pruebas en sistemas de señalización y software complejos. Trabajarás con equipos de seguridad, arquitectura y desarrollo para garantizar seguridad, calidad y fiabilidad en infraestructuras ferroviarias críticas.

Se espera experiencia en V&V, estrategias de automatización y familiaridad con entornos Agile/CI-CD.

Formación

• Experience in verification & validation, testing, integration or system engineering.
• Strong knowledge of test automation strategies and tools (Cucumber, JMeter, Postman).
• Understanding of Agile, CI/CD environments and software development lifecycle.

Responsabilidades

• Define and deploy the Program Verification & Validation strategy and plan.
• Lead verification, integration and test activities across software, product and system levels.
• Drive the transition from manual to automated testing (Cucumber, JMeter, Postman, TestComplete).
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (Security Signalling, Product Architecture, Development Centers).
• Manage configuration, change control and requirement traceability.
• Oversee test execution, reporting, risks and issue management.
• Define and follow up test environments, test benches and analysis tools.
• Represent Alstom towards customers, providing visibility on V&V progress and risks.

We’re looking for a Software V&V Team Leader to drive verification, validation and testing activities across complex signalling and software programs. This is high-impact engineering – ensuring safety, quality, and reliability in critical rail infrastructure.

Your role, your impact

• Define and deploy the Program Verification & Validation strategy and plan
• Lead verification, integration and test activities across software, product and system levels
• Drive the transition from manual to automated testing (Cucumber, JMeter, Postman, TestComplete)
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (Security Signalling, Product Architecture, Development Centers)
• Manage configuration, change control and requirement traceability
• Oversee test execution, reporting, risks and issue management
• Define and follow up test environments, test benches and analysis tools
• Represent Alstom towards customers, providing visibility on V&V progress and risks
• Lead the V&V team and manage subcontractors and work packages
• Ensure independence between verification and design activities

You’ll work with sharp, committed teams across engineering, system, and security domains - solving complex challenges that shape the future of mobility.

What you bring

• Experience in verification & validation, testing, integration or system engineering
• Strong knowledge of test automation strategies and tools (e.g. Cucumber, JMeter, Postman)
• Understanding of Agile, CI/CD environments and software development lifecycle
• Knowledge of integrated systems (CCTV, PA, PIS, communications, control centers)
• Experience with Azure DevOps or similar tools for requirements and test management
• Engineering background with analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluency in English and Spanish (French is a plus)
• Leadership mindset, autonomy and strong communication skills
• Experience in regulated industries (railway signalling, aerospace, defence, nuclear) is a plus
