A leading technology provider in Madrid is seeking a Software Project Manager to oversee project management activities. Responsibilities include planning, managing, and delivering software projects, ensuring alignment with budget and timeline, and leading development teams. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field along with 5+ years of experience in software development projects and expertise in Agile methodologies.

To help reaching its objectives, Alpha Networks is looking for a new Software Project Manager.

The successful candidate will work directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. He or she will coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and deliver software projects within scope, budget, and timeline.
• Define project objectives, requirements, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation and task scheduling.
• Lead software development teams (developers, testers, UI / UX, business analysts) to achieve project goals.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks, and resolve issues proactively.
• Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to management and stakeholders.
• Ensure quality assurance and testing processes are followed before delivery.
• Drive adoption of Agile / Scrum or other software project management methodologies.
• Document lessons learned and recommend process improvements for future projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience in software development or IT projects.
• Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Hands-on experience with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana, MS Project).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
