Finatal in Madrid is seeking an ambitious early-career professional to join its Corporate Development team as an M&A Origination & Business Development Associate. You will engage with founders, assess opportunities, and help build a scalable acquisition pipeline across software markets.

The role offers exposure to senior stakeholders, ongoing due diligence support, and hands-on experience in software M&A within a fast-paced, international investor environment.

Formación

• 0-2 years' experience; commercially minded and proactive.
• Fluent in English; Spanish advantageous but not required.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Self-directed with initiative in outreach.
• Analytical mindset for evaluating business models and opportunities.
• Background in investment banking, M&A origination, corporate development or software sales.

Responsabilidades

• Research and identify potential acquisition targets across software and technology markets.
• Build and maintain target company databases and acquisition pipelines.
• Conduct outreach to founders, CEOs, shareholders and directors of prospective acquisition targets.
• Develop relationships with M&A advisors, brokers, and intermediaries.
• Generate, qualify and nurture acquisition opportunities over time.
• Monitor software market activity, industry trends and relevant M&A transactions.
• Review company information and financial statements to support opportunity assessment.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, outreach activity and pipeline reporting.
