Alignerr is seeking an advanced Python engineer to shape AI software through production-grade code and data workflows. This fully remote contract role is designed for experienced engineers who value clean architecture, scalable data pipelines, and pragmatic, client-facing problem solving.

You will design and optimize Python, analyze structured datasets, write SQL, review existing code for performance, and translate ambiguous requirements into concrete technical solutions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Python — clean architecture, performance optimization, and debugging.
• Strong hands-on experience with real-world data analysis and structured datasets.
• Solid SQL skills, including complex queries, transformations, and data validation.

• Familiarity with backend systems, REST APIs, or data pipelines
• Comfort evaluating or auditing AI-generated code and reasoning
• Strong written communication skills and sharp attention to detail
