Codeway in Barcelona is seeking a Software Engineer, Fullstack to work on web projects across both back-end and front-end.

You will analyze, implement, and deliver features with end-to-end ownership, while maintaining high code quality and collaborating with English-speaking teams.

Formación

• B.Sc. in Computer Science or a related field.
• Junior to mid-level experience (1–5 years).
• Experience with NodeJS and modern web tech stack.
• Proficient in JavaScript, HTML and CSS, with Vue or React.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and version control (Git).
• Knowledge of unit and integration testing and strong English communication.

POSITION

We are looking for a Software Engineer, Fullstack to join our team.

As a Software Engineer, Fullstack, you will work on web projects across both back-end and front-end.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Analyze and deliver features. Analyze, implement, and deliver new features while monitoring and maintaining to offer high-quality software solutions.

• Own your work end-to-end. Take full accountability for your work, from start to finish, by identifying any issues and improving our products.

• Stay curious and improve continuously. Maintain a sense of curiosity regarding emerging technologies and trends in the industry, continuously improving your technical skills and knowledge.

• Ensure code quality. Engage in code reviews to guarantee code quality, performance, and compliance with coding standards.

• Raise company-wide standards. Recognize challenges that affect the entire company and strive to elevate the quality standards organization-wide.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• B.Sc. in Computer Science or a similar discipline.

• Junior-Mid level (1–5 years of experience).

• Experience with NodeJS.

• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, as well as frameworks like Vue or React.

• Experience with designing and implementing RESTful APIs.

• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

• Knowledge of unit/integration testing.

• Good communication and collaboration skills in English, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience in relevant Google Cloud Products (e.g., Pub/Sub, Functions, App Engine)

• Experience with Vue3 and Firestore

• Experience with caching strategies (e.g., Redis, Memcached)
