Materialise Medical in Barcelona is seeking a front-end software engineer who loves building production-ready apps with TypeScript and solid OO design. You will design and implement complex front-end modules with a focus on 3D visualization and computational workflows, beyond just UI.

You will collaborate with architects, product managers, and engineers to translate requirements into maintainable code, follow SOLID principles, and apply TDD to deliver high-quality software.

Formación

• Strong software engineering fundamentals and problem solving.
• Fluent in OOP concepts and design patterns (Factory, Strategy, etc.).
• Solid understanding of SOLID principles.
• 4+ years of professional experience designing and delivering production-ready front-end apps.
• Good communication and collaborative mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement complex front-end modules with emphasis on application logic, 3D visualization, and computational workflows.
• Work in a modern TypeScript-based stack using OO principles and design patterns.
• Collaborate with architects, product managers, and engineers to translate requirements into robust code.
• Write clean, testable, reusable components with a focus on quality (TDD mindset).

What you will do

• Design and implement complex front-end modules with a strong focus on application logic, 3D visualization, and computational workflows, not just UI
• Work in a modern TypeScript‑based stack using object‑oriented principles and design patterns
• Collaborate closely with architects, product managers, and fellow engineers to turn product requirements into robust, maintainable code
• Write clean, testable, and reusable components with a strong focus on quality (unit tests, TDD mindset)
• Contribute to internal tools that improve engineering quality and developer experience

Your profile

• You have strong software engineering fundamentals and enjoy solving algorithmic or mathematical problems
• You are fluent in OOP concepts and design patterns (e.g., Factory, Strategy, etc.)
• You understand and follow SOLID principles
• You have strong proficiency in TypeScript, with familiarity in other object‑oriented languages (e.g., C#, Java) as a nice‑to‑have
• 4+ years of professional experience in designing and delivering production‑ready applications
• Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Nice to have

• Experience with 3D rendering, computational geometry, or scientific visualization
• Familiarity with vertex/matrix algebra or simulation‑type logic
