Overview

Strategic European project in Microsoft and .NET environment, focused on evolving FRONTEX’s training management platform.

This is a freelance-only position, ideal for senior developers seeking long-term collaboration and technical leadership in an international setting.

Responsibilities

• Custom development and technological evolution: Migrate SharePoint 2019 systems to SharePoint Subscription
• Redesign Microsoft-based solutions independent of SharePoint
• Design and develop new features for the training management platform
• Create prototypes and new applications based on the Product Backlog
• Optimize performance, security, and accessibility (including screen reader testing)
• Produce technical and user documentation
• Report development progress, estimate effort, and define development standards
• Collect and interpret software metrics
• Train administrators in the use of the applications
• Maintenance and technical support: Perform corrective, adaptive, and preventive maintenance of .NET systems
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level technical support
• Update software and fix vulnerabilities
• Maintain technical documentation and reporting
• Collaborate in defining requirements for adaptive maintenance

Requirements

Professional experience

• Minimum 5 years with Angular, .NET, and SharePoint
• Participation in at least 2 ICT projects focused on knowledge management, workflows, and business processes
• Experience in developing corporate-level enterprise systems
• Involvement in at least one full development lifecycle

Technical skills

• Design and development of data, business logic, and presentation layers (UI)
• UML knowledge
• Experience in Scrum / Agile environments
• Ability to lead technical teams
• Skilled in documenting technical solutions clearly and structurally
• Strong problem-solving abilities

Education and certifications

• University degree in ICT (mandatory)
• Advanced certification in software development technologies (mandatory)
• English level B2 (Common European Framework), validated by certificate or test
